Hello! My name is Tatjana, but everyone calls me Jana. I was born and raised in the South Bronx. My interests are reading (usually comic books), listening to podcasts and working out. I am fluent in Spanish and wish to learn ASL.

I graduated from LaGuardia Community College with a degree in Business Management. At the time, I wanted a career in business. During my time at LaGuardia, I took a Marketing course as an elective knew right away this is where I want to be and I wanted to learn more. In the Fall of 2016, I will be attending City College to study Advertising and Public Relations.

Currently, I am working full time as an administrative assistant where I provide support to the partners and managers in a fast paced accounting firm.  I am constantly meeting and talking to our clients and guests. I handle multiple projects so I know how to stay cool under pressure and meet deadlines. I am also a marketing apprentice at CO*OP,  a non-profit organization connecting graduates to meaningful careers in tech, media and advertising. I am developing marketing skills including SEO, Google AdWords, and Facebook Ads. I will also be learning Google Analytics, Media Planning and Mobile Marketing training.

With my experience in business and digital marketing, I hope to merge the two and apply my skills at a digital media agency.

2 Companies I really admire and Why

Growing up, I was obsessed with Archie comics and watching Batman continuously chase Joker around every day. Now as an adult, I am into pretty much all the comic from Image. Their comics are new and refreshing.

Why do you like this company? What makes them special? Is there a leader at this organization you really admire?

Let me tell you about ...

I was interning for a fashion stylist. We were styling for a Turner Network Television (TNT) commercial. The stylist trusted me and left me alone on set while she ran errands for the next day's shoot. Half way through the shoot, the client changed their vision on how to style the actress. The client is from Brazil and was speaking Portuguese. Being fluent in Spanish, I was able to recognize what the client was saying so I was able to communicate her. She expressed what she wanted and Oddly enough, I literally gave the actress the shirt off my back. I not only fulfilled the client's vision but I was also able to think quick on my feet and had a successful photoshoot.
