Welcome to my personal page! I am a creative writer and journalist who has written for multiple online publications including the Bronx Journal and Nerd Caliber. I have a range of skills from administrative work to media campaign management. I'm interested in copywriting and content marketing management.

Where Have I Been? I graduated from Lehman College with a BA in Mass Communication and a minor in Multimedia Journalism. I've held positions in customer service, as a site coordinator, and as a library research analyst. I'm known for being a problem-solver who enjoys figuring out puzzles and overcoming challenges.

Where Am I Now? For the time being, I work at the Plaza Hotel as a team member for Luke's Lobster. Making tasty rolls is only one of the many things I do there. Another important part of my job is ensuring customer satisfaction. At Luke's, good customer service directly impacts our digital presence. When our customers are happy, they are more likely to leave positive reviews online. The better our reviews, the better we can market ourselves. When I'm not at Luke's I'm at COOP, an intensive digital marketing apprenticeship. COOP allows me to sharpen rusty skills and gain new ones while building a solid foundation to start my career in digital marketing.

Where Am I Going? I'm interested in opportunities in content creation and marketing. My ultimate goal would be creating and marketing my own brand. Planning events, producing content, and writing are all things I see myself doing in the near future. Senior Copywriter has a nice ring to it.

2 Companies I really admire and Why

Grubhub has always had amazing PR campaigns. The company has grown exponentially over the years and is THE forerunner in online food ordering. Grubhub's current CMO is Barbara Martin Coppola. Coppola has a stellar credentials list and has worked with companies like Samsung and Google. She's definitely a feminine role model I look up to in the tech industry.

Google is the forerunner in search and has created a dynamic company with many moving parts and services. Google figured out how to streamline information in a straight-forward way. I love how they are constantly changing and being a driving force behind innovation.

Let me tell you about ...

Currently, I work as a team member for Luke's Lobster. In this role I have streamlined the ordering process raising the revenue of both the company and employee tips. When I began in May, some times Yelp reviews mentioned unpleasant customer experiences.  Yelp reviews impact Luke's digital presence, which is an important part of customer growth and retention. I began implementing different tactics when engaging with customers. Through product knowledge, friendly conversation, and concise deliberate action, I was able to up-sell and satisfy the customers' needs. Since implementing these tactics higher levels of tipping have been documented when I am on the register. My manager even spoke of an increase in positive Yelp reviews as a result. Achieving this has allowed my problem-solving and marketing skills to grow.
