I want to become a better public speaker.
2 Companies I really admire and Why
I like Google because this company is always changing, and making new applications to make life easier. What makes Google special is that the company not just improve previous product but develop new projects as well such as the Google Tango project.
I like Square Enix because their influence in the gaming world is always changing and setting the bar high withing the industry. What makes Square Enix special is that there games never stay the same. The graphics are always improving and becoming more and more realistic. They take a lot of risks and that is what I admire the most.
Let me tell you about ...
Setting the stage. When I was participating at a program called Pipeline to technology in Medgar Evers College and Brooklyn College located at 25 Wall ST, I was in a team working on a program based on retail. I was the programmer in the group.
The beginning. My team leader went on vacation before our presentations after messing up the program that we were working on.
The middle. I had to be not only the head programmer but also the group leader. The reason I had to take the lead was because I was working with the team leader on the program since we were the programmers in the group. and the other members didn't want to take the lead.
The End. With only a few days to practice and finish the program plus documentation, UML Diagrams and the Powerpoint presentation our group was a success.
Reflection. I have learned that I can take a leadership role when needed and make decisions.
