Short Intro.  Hello! My name is Serge Coipel. I am a dedicated hard-worker, traveler, and a foodie.

Where Have I Been? I will be graduating in 2017 from DeVry University with a degree in project management. I work for Global Security as a Special Operations Agent, supervising private screenings, helping my co-workers follow TSA guidelines, and assisting with high value cargo shipments. During my sophomore year in college I received my first invitation to an internship through my marketing professors start up company “Universal Sports Education". Universal Sports Education is a company that educates people of all ages in sports marketing, sports science, and sports management. At Universal Sports Education I interned as a social media editor aiding in content building, writing articles and making sure they get posted in a timely manner on all social media outlets.

Where Am I Now? Currently, I am at a non profit organization called COOP, who I had the pleasure in joining a vast community, that helped me further my knowledge in digital marketing, and pushed me to the best that I can be while helping my own community. COOP educated me about SEO, SEM, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Paid Social and other key areas on digital marketing. I learned about this internship through a recent friend who completed the internship, and recommended to join as well. According to my friend, who is an alumni of the program, it was a life changing experience, and I couldn't agree more with her. This internship has helped boost my confidence, and surrounded myself around the most amazing people.

Where Am I Going? My plans for the near future are as follows: I plan to start out as a social media analyst while studying for my MBA. My next goal is to one day be a marketing manager, overseeing all the marketing aspects of a company, and finally being promoted to a marketing director. I also one day hope to be a captain for COOP and help others as they did for me.

For years Apple has continuously pushed the boundaries in the tech world and has been apart of my life since i was a teenager. Growing up, I couldn't leave the house without my iPod, and today I can't leave my house without my MacBook and iPhone. Steve Jobs is a great influencer and his work ethic has influenced me to pay attention to every detail.

Twitch is an online live streaming platform where broadcasters can release and perform their content in real-time with viewer interaction live. I first found out of Twitch several years ago when I wanted to find a hobby that doesn't involve being the viewer but a content creator. Now as a live broadcaster, I consider Twitch as my second hobby, influencing many individuals around the world with my creative content and entertainment.

Nike is very much a part of my life as I try to remain active on a weekly basis. Nike today, has changed the way we all look at exercising, training, and being the ultimate best at anything we do. Motivation and inspiration is what Nike brings to the world and pushes everyone to go out in to the world and "Just Do It".

Let me tell you about ...

Setting the stage. In the first year of working for Global Security, I was promoted to supervisor on private screenings. The beginning. One night while me and my team were in Philadelphia, getting ready to screen the Washington Redskins, we started setting up the machines to start the process of the screening, and noticed that one of the machines weren’t working properly due to a malfunction. The middle. As the supervisor I had to brainstorm quick and come up with a solution to solve the problem before the screening process began. I then had my team change up the whole process of the screening, and decided to take some coworkers off their normal duty of the screening to another task they weren’t to familiar with. I prepped them on how to properly hand wand a passenger when they enter the screening area. The End. The end result was a successful screening, and the passengers were satisfied with how quick everything went without the machine. Reflection. I learned that being a leader doesn’t necessarily mean you know everything. Being a leader means you trust the people around you, and you push them to become better.
