Short Intro. Hey, my name is Johnjie. I live an active lifestyle and always keep an open mind to try new things. I enjoy playing basketball, running, snowboarding, and traveling to new places.
Where Have I Been? I recently graduated from Queens College with a bachelor’s degree in economics, focused on understanding business models and developing analytical skills. Aside from business courses one of my favorite courses I’ve taken was Photoshop basics. I admired the small details and the end result of the projects I've worked on through Photoshop CC.
Where Am I Now? I am currently in a program called COOP which focuses on developing skills in excel, paid social, SEO, SEM, and google analytics. The experience of working in a team-based program strengthens my skills in teamwork and improving in building connections.
Where Am I Going? I want to use the skills and knowledge I’ve gained in COOP to dive into the marketing world. I believe this position will be a vital stepping stone into learning more on designing advertisements, digital/traditional.

Let me tell you about ...
Three years ago, I woke up one day and weighed myself and was stunned that I was 220 lbs. I knew I had to change my lifestyle and become more active and have better eating eating habits. I became more aware of what I was eating. I made many sacrifices such as giving up rice and disciplined myself to only drinking water. I still remember the brutal days of going the extra mile, wanted to quit but kept going. Some days I would do a workout program in the morning, go running in the early afternoon, and then played basketball later in the day. Within 5 months of having an insane routine I had lost 50 lbs. Losing this weight taught me that I can accomplish a goal as long as I put my mind into it. I still live an active lifestyle.
